This category is any type of game that requires fast-paced inputs that require immediate response. To make it simple the time it takes for the signal to reach your video game console or computer from the satellite takes about a 750-1500ms delay. Although this short delay based on the great distance your request travels, “real-time” games require a higher ping rate or in other words the time it takes in between your online game to sends a request to the internet and the time it takes for that a response.
With HughesNet the ping rate it’s perfect for downloading content, streaming video and internet browsing. However, it is not recommended for fast paced games that require fast inputs.
